How Do I Join?

Potential members may join at any 1st Saturday meeting of the month

There are two methods joining The Memphis Youth Coalition:

• Youth Organization Membership

This membership includes your entire youth organization.

• Core Membership - Individual Members ( Core of the Coalition)

This is individual membership. Member does not have to be connected to a youth ministry to participate with The Memphis Youth Coalition. 

Membership Fees?

There are no membership or application fees at this time. Only obligation.

Youth Organization obligation:

• Must visit (2) different MYC youth organization events per quarter
• Must attend MYC quarterly event with students from your organization. The Memphis Youth Coalition only has ONE event per quarter; therefore, we have no dues.
• Must attend (1) 1st Saturday of the month meetings per quarter 3p-4p (1hr meeting)

 Individual Membership Obligation (Core Coalition Members)

• Must attend (2) 1st Saturday of the month meetings per quarter 3p-4p (1hr meeting)
• Must visit (1) MYC youth organization per week with Core Members
• Must attend (1) MYC leadership training a month 2nd Mondays 6:30p – 7:30pm (1hr training)

Note: Core Members migrate to different youth organizations weekly to assist in any way needed or just to support the organization’s outreach efforts. 

How often do we meet?

Every Member (Organization Leaders and Core Members) 1st Saturday of the month 3p-4p (must attend 1 meeting per quarter)

Individual (Core Members) Members ONLY

·         Every 2nd Monday  6:30p – 7:30 ( Leadership Training)
