“Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity”… Psalms 133 couldn’t have expressed this any better. This is the purpose of The Memphis Youth Coalition, to create an alliance of students, youth leaders and advisors in the greater Memphis metropolitan area helping youth organizations grow overall. It is our desire to unite in the efforts to advance the Kingdom of God through our young people and future leaders.

Every so often help! is the only word you can use to express the stresses of Youth Outreach and In-reach. Balancing a sometimes annual decreased youth budget (if you have a budget that year), counseling distressed students, parents, M.I.A. (missing in action) youth leaders, attitudes, sagging pants, run-a-ways, gang bangers, suicide victims, murders, rape or molested students, a phone that rings constantly, and most of all your own personal challenges can become overwhelming at times as a youth leader.

Today, help has finally arrived through The Memphis Youth Coalition! Our goal is to assist in four main areas: 

• Increase Organization Capacity
• Increase Organization Capital
• Organization Development / Support
• Create an alliance of Youth Organizations and Leaders (Accountability)
